Quality, Safety, and Injury Prevention (QSIP) Grant Opportunity:

This grant is intended to fund projects that will directly relate to injury prevention, quality, and/or safety. The award should be used for supplies, training or licensure fees, etc. The award should not go towards costs already covered by an organization or hospital, such as paying day-to-day operational expenses, utilities, facility fees, and the like. We will prioritize critical access hospitals, rural, and lower resourced areas.

The goal of the award is to increase opportunities to bring injury prevention, quality, and/or safety to underfunded areas and support the growth of injury prevention, quality, and/or safety initiatives across the state of Oregon.

The QSIP committee is pleased to offer a grant of up to $2,000.00 to one or more applicants. This is a reimbursement grant. You will be responsible for spending funds up front, and Oregon ENA will reimburse you up to the awarded amount.

Congratulations to 2025’s recipient of the Oregon ENA Quality, Safety, and Injury Prevention Grant, Harney District Hospital!

Harney District Hospital plans to address fall prevention by creating a community event to provide in-person fall risk assessments and provide attendees with assistive equipment, including walkers, canes, toilet risers, and hand rails.

Thank you Harney District Hospital for your dedication to injury prevention and your work to improve the lives of the population that you serve!
